How to add effects in VCV Rack

Let’s talk about effects in VCV Rack 2. By default, you’ll have access to the Delay plugin, which in itself is a very useful effect. The fun thing about modular synthesis is that almost every knob has a CV input, so you’re only limited by your own imagination.

In this video, I’ll show you how to use the standard delay effect and how to turn it into a stereo delay. After that, we’ll download a third-party spring reverb module by Befaco. This is what I really like about VCV Rack, you get to experiment with recreations of actual modules.

This spring reverb has 2 inputs and outputs, so you can get crazy with all sorts of feedback effects.
